So I’m calling this #TuesdayTeaser because it’s going to be a short post with just some teasers from the devotion I have read today, but it will still be enough to get you thinking. Before I begin that though, I hope all of you are enjoying your day so far! Again, it’s cloudy and dreary here today– and cold! Hopefully it’s nicer wherever you are at. So I stayed true to my words from yesterdays post and I went home and deep cleaned the house to get rid of all those germs that were lurking from the sickness that took over this past weekend. Also, Ben is back to work today and feeling better– that’s a win! We caught up on Young Sheldon, ate some pizza, and watched some Friends reruns before bed last night. All in all, I would say it was a productive day yesterday. Lets just hope today is just as productive. I plan on going for a run when I get home after work but we will see if I’m still feeling motivated at 4:30 this afternoon in this cold weather (I have a gut feeling though that the couch and a blanket will be calling my name). So anyways, lets get on with todays post.
I was reading my Bible devotion app earlier and it had a good scripture (read below):
Summed up in one sentence, it’s saying once God has spoken, there is nothing and no one else who can speak to counter the word of God. God has our life planned out so if we go with the flow, we are living the life God has created for us. Nobody can tell us how to live because in the end, whatever God has planned out for us will prevail. What has been written in the Bible has been written under the approval of God and cannot be reversed.
I also did my weekly prayer project and week 4 is about leaving things up to God. It asked me to take some time to write my requests to God and as I’m writing them, know and believe that my prayers are going up to God; he is listening. Though I won’t share with you what I wrote, I will say I feel more at peace after jotting down some things.
Overall, I feel like this is helping me start my week off on the right foot. It’s given me a sense of peace and tranquility I usually only get from a massage! Speaking of, I’m finally giving in and getting one this Saturday. I rarely splurge and get one but I haven’t had one since the new year started so I’m looking forward to it. I go to the OM Center in Adrian, MI, so check them out here. They specialize in many things, not just massage. They do cupping therapy (which feels weird but is SO rejuvinating!), body scrubs, and craniosacral therapy. If you’re ever in the area and in need of a good massage, check them out! Their prices are pretty reasonable, too.
Alright, I’m going to go enjoy some reading before I pick up the kids from school in a few hours. Hope you all enjoy the rest of your day! I’ll be back tomorrow with a #WhatUpWednesday post! I have some great things to share tomorrow so stay tuned!
