The best potato pie EVER!

Happy Thursday everybody! It’s Friday eve so you know what that means– just one more day of work! I’m just checking in with y’all real quick on my way to dinner to tell you about this seriously AMAZING recipe I made last night. The kids and Ben devoured it and said it has to become a regular staple in the dinner rotation in our household. That says a lot because when I make new recipes, I don’t always get told to remake them on the regular. So anyways, here’s the recipe for some seriously amazing A1 potato pie:

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, plus more for topping
  • 1/3 cup A1 sauce

First, brown the meat in a skillet with any added spices you would like. I used garlic salt and everyday seasoning from Trader Joes. Drain the meat and put back in the skillet, then add the A1 sauce and heat until it is boiling. Once boiling, remove from heat and pour in greased pan (I used an 8X8 baking dish so I wouldn’t have to deal with leftovers). Mix in 1 cup cheddar cheese with the mashed potatoes then layer on top of meat. Top the potatoes with more cheese then bake at 350° for 12 minutes and that’s it! Serve with buttered bread or crusty french bread and your meal is complete.

It’s a super quick and simple dish that is sure to please everyone. If my youngest eats it, then it’s kid approved!

Alright guys, I’m off to get dinner prepped for the kids then taking off to meet my hubby for dinner. I might be back with a surprise post tomorrow but if not, be sure to see one Monday for a fantabulous weekend roundup. Have a great night!

Xoxo, Lexi
