#WhatUpWednesday (on a Thursday!)

One comment

Guys. It’s officially Thursday! You know what that means, don’t ya? One day closer to the weekend! I’ve been MIA from Life with Lexi, but life has been busy and not gonna lie, Ben and I have been binge watching a new show so I blame that! So, all you lucky readers get a #WhatUpWednesday post on a Thursday because I can’t not tell you whats new & exciting in my life!

What I’m Watching

OMG GUYS, Sons of Anarchy is literally the BEST. SHOW. EVER! This is what we have been binge watching since Sunday and we are already on season 3. It has so much going on– motorcycles, violence, drugs, and drama (and the guys aren’t too bad looking, either). The storyline has us hooked, we just can’t get enough of it! So for all of you who have seen SOA, are you #teamtara or #teamwendy? I am all for Tara and Jax– such a cute couple and so much great chemistry between those two. I am finishing up season 2 right now so I can watch the first 3 episodes of season 3 to catch up to Ben (who is mean and watched ahead without me! and is still currently watching ahead ATM– so rude!). Anyways, I can’t wait to see what the rest of the show has in store because seriously, I am at such a good plot in the show right now, IDK how it can get any better.

What I’m Excited About

I have a good opprotunity at my fingertips right now and while I don’t want to say anything because I don’t want to jinx myself, I can give you a hint: slingin’ drinks. ‘Nuff said. Wish me luck!

What I’m Listening To

Currently, I have found myself slightly obsessed with podcasts. I downloaded Spotify because somebody I know said I can get some good podcasts there and I have always been interested in listening to them. Especially one in particular since I read about it on a blog: Small Town Murders. It’s exactly what it sounds like– podcasts about grusome murders in small towns all across America. The hosts on the show give you a little background on the city and the murderer then get into the gory details of the murder and who was murdered. It can get pretty darn gross so if you have a weak stomach or don’t care much for profanity, I do not recommend this for you. It is definitely NOT for the faint of heart! But if this sounds like something up your alley, check it out! You can also find Small Town Murders on your podcast channel through the Apple store. I’m sure I’ll be coming at ya with a new podcast post next week because I found a couple others that have been of interest to me.

What I Want to Work On

I want to start doing some DIY’s! When I was at CVS the other night, I was browsing the magazine rack and found a DIY magazine that had some super cute stuff on the cover so I bought it. Flipping through it, there are some amazing painting tips and ideas for refurbishing end tables and I really want some new end tables in our living room. So, I’m gonna see what kind of crafty skills I have and get to work in the next couple weeks once I find the perfect surface to begin on! I’ll share with you the before and after once it is all completed!

What I’m Eating

Pizza! Or anything from the pizza shop uptown, like a BLT sub. All I have been craving is greasy, cheesy goodness which is AWFUL for my diet but tastes so good! Not like I eat it everyday because if I did, I would weigh a ton but I do splurge more then I should…oops! Speaking of, I’ll probably have pizza for dinner again tonight. Alright, I gotta stop talking about this– it’s making my stomach growl.

Alright, I’ll be back tomorrow with a post that can help you out if you’re sick, in pain, or need some energy. It’s seriously going to be good! Enjoy the rest of your Friday Eve everybody, I know I will!

Xoxo, Lexi
